| As of January 4, 2023, all SecureCom Wireless 3G service on the Verizon network will be terminated.
Throughout the year, you have received communications that Verizon is scheduled to shut down their CDMA network beginning 2023.
The following information on network shutdown timing was provided by Verizon:
- They will begin shutting off their CDMA network at 2 a.m. EST on January 3, 2023.
- The shutdown will cascade across the United States based on time zones.
- By 6am PST on Wednesday, January 4, the entire Verizon CDMA network will be shut off.
On January 4, systems with a 3G communicator on the Verizon network will no longer be able to communicate any alarm events to their monitoring station.
