SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- Nearly all types of fire service requests increased during the second quarter of 2017 in Springfield compared to the same time period in 2016.
Out of all the numbers in the report, probably the most shocking is that Springfield’s fire death rate is three times the national average. Other statistics include calls for service, building fires, other fires and medical calls.
